According to the Met department bulletin, the temperatures were appreciably below normal, ranging from 3.1 to 5 degrees at a few places, in coastal Andhra. They were markedly below normal by 5 degrees Celsius or less at a few places in Rayalaseema.
The other temperatures recorded in the State were: Arogyavaram 12, Bapatla, Kalingapatnam, Jangamaheswarapuram, Kadapa & Nandyal 15 each, Nandigama & Visakhapatnam Airport 16 each, Tuni, Vijayawada, Kurnool & Tirupati 17 each, Kakinada, Kavali & Narsapur 19 each, Visakhapatnam, Machilipatnam & Ongole 20 each and Nellore 21.
