Hyderabad: YSR Congress has demanded the Chandrababu Naidu government to volunteer for an inquiry into the charges leveled by a BJP MLC and said that the Chief Minister has gone underground while TDP MPs were resorting to theatrics in the Parliament.

Addressing media here on Tuesday, party senior leader Botsa Satyanarayana said, while the MPs were holding placards flashing the slogan Save Democracy, two TDP Ministers were comfortably sitting in the front row and the Chief Minister has become inaccessible and incommunicado which shows the dichotomy of the situation.

The Chief Minister should have at least now addressed the people and tell them about the developments instead of selective leaks in his friendly media.

The Delhi developments were aptly captured by Rajdeep Sardesai who tweeted:

Crazy scenes in Lok Sabha: TDP MPs, part of ruling alliance, disrupt the house over AP special status. Force adjournment. Isn't TDP part of the Modi Govt? What the hell is going on here?

BJP MLC S Veeraju has levelled serious allegations saying that a person with just two acres of land had become a billionaire and said that there have been irregularities in Kuppam constituency.

The state should volunteer for an inquiry as there was a precedence of ruling party ordering a CBI probe by Dr YS Rajasekhara Reddy when allegations were levelled against me as well.

The state has been under the spell of an eclipse in the form of Chandrababu Naidu and this would come to an end only with the general elections, he said.
