Perform duties with discipline

Tirupati: Anantapur Range DIG J Prabhakar Rao called upon the armed reserve police personnel to carry out their duties with discipline and dedication then only they can get good recognition in their job. As part of annual inspection, the DIG has inspected the AR unit of the Tirupati urban police along with SP Abhishek Mohanty on Tuesday here. On this occasion, the DIG received the honorary salute from the AR police personnel.

Later, Rao addressing the cops said that VVIPs and others from all over the country and abroad will make frequent visits to Tirupati for darshan of Lord Venkateswara Swamy. He exhorted city cops to be alert while performing the duties. “Police personnel should adopt good food habits and to do physical exercises for maintaining their fitness so that they can do the job perfectly at field level,” the DIG said.

Earlier, the DIG has witnessed the AR dog and bomb squads’ rehearsals and appreciated the staff. Later, Prabhakar Rao has inspected the AR police office and instructed the officials to maintain the records properly. ASPs Swamy, Sidda Reddy, and Murali Kirshna, DSPs Nanda Kishore, Lakshman Kumar, and Ravi Manohar Achary were present.
