Andhra University students stage protests after lizard found in sambhar

The students of Andhra University have taken up protests after a lizard was found in the food of the canteen.

Staging agitation against the management, students of the science department at the University found a lizard in sambhar offered at the canteen mess.

The students alleged that it could have been a drastic situation for them if any student had consumed the sambhar.

They blamed that such incidents have occurred several times in the past with small flies and worms being found in the canteen food but despite repeated complaints, no action has been taken.

The students shared that they were worried about protesting as it might result in their marks getting cut but after today’s incident, they have decided to take up the protest.
