Tirupati: On the second day of Brahmotsavam of Sri Kalyana Venkatewara Swamy Temple at Srinivasa Mangapuram, the Lord rode on Chinna Sesha Vahanam in Badrinarayana avatar on the mada streets.

The grand procession was marked with elephants, chakka bhajanam, kolatas and drum beating on the vehicle of five-headed serpent king as Lord blessed devotees with grand darshan.

The utsava idols of deity with consort Sridevi and Bhudevi was given snapana thirumanjanam with sandal, coconut, honey and milk after vahana procession.

Unjal seva and Hamsa vahana seva were part of evening programmes of the ongoing annual Brahmotsvam event at the Sri Kalyana Venkateswara Swamy Temple wherein the deity will wear Veena as Saraswati avatar heralding purity of life and pious practices.

The HDPP artistes from Chandragiri mandal performed chakka bhajan while the artists from Kopparajapalli rendered Pandari bhajans. Similarly, artistes of Annamacharya project and Dasa Sahitya project performed Kolatas, Kerala Vadya music in the vahana seva.

Deputy Executive Officer Venkataiah, AEO Srinivasulu, Deputy Executive Engineer Ramamurthy, Chief Kankana Bhattar Balaji Rangacharyulu, AE Nagaraja and AVSO Ganga Raju participated.
