Mahila Mitras praised for their initiative

Vijayawada: Vasavya Mahila Mandali ‘Amma’ programme coordinator D Anupama praised the city police and Mahila Mitra members for tackling and solving problems faced by women in the city successfully at the meetings held at three police stations here on Wednesday.

The meeting was convened under the aegis of Vijayawada city central range, Machavaram, Patamata and Penamaluru, station house officers, Mahila Mitra members, circle inspectors, station house officers.

They discussed various problems being faced by women in society and suggested ways to solve them. Instructions were given to Mahila Mitra members to tackle situations and solve the problems at their respective police stations.
