Rawat appointed as roll observer

Visakhapatnam: The Election Commission has appointed Principal Secretary of AP Social Welfare Department Shamsher Singh Rawat as the roll observer for Srikakulam, Vizianagaram and Visakhapatnam districts for monitoring the special revision of photo electoral rolls work.

SS Rawat will arrive in vizag on Friday and convene a meeting with the MLAs, MLCs, MPs and representatives of political parties at the Collectorate at 5 pm. The roll observer will register the grievances and complaints to seek their active involvement in the revision process of electoral lists.
