Tirupati: On day three of the celestial annual Brahmotsavam at Kalyana Venkateswara Temple of Srinivasa Mangapuram, Lord blessed devotees as he rode on Simha Vahanam in the Yoga Narasimha avatar.

His vahanam went around four mada streets of the Srinivasa Mangapuram from 8 am to 9 am with his entourage of elephants and devotees performing chakka bhajans, Kolatas to the accompaniment of drums and holy music.

Devotees offered camphor harati at every step of the vahanam to beget his blessings in the unique avatar symbolising the heralding of good and punishment of the bad elements in the society.

The lord was offered Unjal Seva in the evening and later Muthyapu Pandiri Vahana Seva in the night and blessed the tumult of devotees, who had gathered for the celestial darshan glittering with pearls, diamond, gold and flower decorations.

Deputy EO Venkataiah, AEO Srinivasulu, EE Manohar, Deputy EE Sri Ramamurthy, Chief Kankana Bhattar Balaji Rangacharyulu, AE Nagaraja, AVSO Ganga Raju and others participated.
