The 15th annual day celebrations of Vignan’s Steel City Public School were held on Saturday at Duvvada. Former IAS officer EAS Sarma was the chief guest at the celebrations and interacted with the students of primary, secondary and higher secondary students and parents. 

Visakhapatnam: The 15th annual day celebrations of Vignan’s Steel City Public School were held on Saturday at Duvvada. Former IAS officer EAS Sarma was the chief guest at the celebrations and interacted with the students of primary, secondary and higher secondary students and parents.

Speaking on the occasion, Sarma said that discipline and determination would make a perfect individual. He highlighted ethical values to be imbibed among the students right from school stage to develop a best future citizen. Sarma emphasised that Indian culture and heritage to be promoted by the children and they have to learn how to question how to be brave.

Director (Personnel) of Visakhapatnam Steel Plant Kishore Chandra Das appreciated the students who showed their talent in cultural activities.

Chairman of Vignan Group Dr Lavu Rathaiah congratulated the prize winners in the competitions conducted as a part of the annual day celebrations. Rathaiah asked the parents to encourage the students to participate in sports and cultural activities. He also highlighted that Vignan encourages extracurricular activities right from kindergarten.

CEO of the Group K Pavan Krishna, Principal K Madhuri, Principal of VIIT Dr Ch Narasimham, and faculty were present.
