The Hans India highlighted the problems faced by general patients at Government General Hospital, Guntur by publishing a detailed story on Monday, “Stretchers used to shift scrap at GGH.”

Speaking to The Hans India, DME N Subbarao explained that the problem of providing separate trolleys would be solved soon. He observed the problem would be solved by allocating some amount for that purpose at all the government hospitals. At the same time, he maintained that providing additional supporting staff is became a big problem for the government.

Subbarao explained that they would also find a suitable solution for meeting the demand of supporting staff shortage in the hospitals. “We have idea on providing supporting hospital staff to all the government general hospitals in the state. They include receptionists or front desk, wards assistants, medical assistants and many other posts need to be provided at the hospitals.

Then only this problem could be solved,” he explained. But, for that the financial support is needed in a bigger manner, he further added. Of course, this problem could be addressed through outsourcing the services till the government recruit direct employees, explained Subbarrao.
