Focus on innovation: ISRO chief
Chairman of the ISRO Dr K Sivan asked the SHAR team to focus on new innovations for the benefit of the country. He visited the Centre on Wednesday after assuming charge as the Chairman.

SDSC-SHAR centre is not new to him and appreciated efforts of the scientists and others for their valuable services. He suggested to work hard for developing new technologies making the launches easier and with precision. He asked them to rededicate for the nation through making the technology reachable to the common man for their comfortable living which Vikram Sarabhai aimed at.
He further visited various wings in the Centre and observed vehicles getting ready for launching. SHAR Director Dr P Kunhi Krishnan, Associate Director MBN Murthy, Centre Controller JV Raja Reddy and others were present.
