Karnataka secures first place in vocal, elocution at youth fest
On the third day, the University of Horticultural Sciences at Bagalkot in Karnataka has secured first place in the light vocal contest held in the ongoing 18th edition of All India Inter-Agricultural Universities Youth festival at Sri Venkateswara Veterinary University (SVVU) here.
Tirupati: On the third day, the University of Horticultural Sciences at Bagalkot in Karnataka has secured first place in the light vocal contest held in the ongoing 18th edition of All India Inter-Agricultural Universities Youth festival at Sri Venkateswara Veterinary University (SVVU) here. Followed by, Orissa University of Agriculture & Technology in second place and Punjab Agricultural University at Ludhiana got third place.
In elocution contest, University of Agricultural and Horticultural Sciences, Karnataka has stood first among all participating varsities. In mono acting, Anand Agricultural University in Gujarat has secured first place and Tamil Nadu Agricultural University at Coimbatore has stood in the second place.
Eminent personalities in the respective categories from various states were invited as judges for these competitions. SVVU V-C Y Haribabu and other university officials have watched the third day proceedings. Apart from students, Local residents thronging the SVVU campus to watch the cultural programmes and stalls arranged at the venue. The youth festival will conclude on Friday.
