A married woman committed suicide by hanging from the ceiling at her residence in the first lane of Ramakrishnapuram under Ajit SinghNagar police station limits on Thursday.
Vijayawada: A married woman committed suicide by hanging from the ceiling at her residence in the first lane of Ramakrishnapuram under Ajit SinghNagar police station limits on Thursday.
According to Singh Nagar police, Golla Sai Priyanka,29, ended her life due to financial problems and depression. She married to Golla Srinivasa Rao, a photographer, nine years ago.
Due to disputes between the couple, the husband was staying at Vambay Colony for the past few months. The woman was living with her two daughters at her parents’ home.
On Thursday, Sai Priyanka sent her two children out and took the extreme step. Her father Simhadri Poturaju and other family members were shocked over the incident. Sub-inspector T Ramakrishnan inspected the house and investigating the case.
