Tirupati: Wide publicity on the importance of Gomata should be given so that every pilgrim including VIPs, pontiffs should include SV Goshala as a part of their pilgrimage, said TTD EO Anil Kumar Singhal.

A review meeting on activities of Gosamrakshana Trust took place in the TTD Administrative Building in Tirupati on Friday. The EO directed Goshala Director Dr Harnath Reddy to come out with a concrete action plan to ensure how best the cow based natural products can be utilised as there is a lot of marketing scope for enriched bio-manure in agriculture in many districts of AP.

The EO directed the officials concerned to give wide publicity on importance of Gomata and distribute pamphlets to the multitude of visiting pilgrims. “Also prepare a documentary on the significance of Gomata, Gosamrakshana Trust in SVBC for global pilgrims,” he added.

He directed the Goshala officials to develop an infrastructure for Tirupati and Palamaner Goshalas and take up the construction of platforms in these Goshalas from the funds of Gosamrakshana Trust. “For future developmental works, an experts team shall be deployed which will submit a report on the requirements of infrastructure for Palamaner Goshala.

Tirumala JEO KS Sreenivasa Raju, FACAO O Balaji, SV Veterinary College Principal Dr Nalini Kumari, SV Agriculture College Principal Dr Rajeswari Devi and others were also present.
