Participating in the Sir CR Reddy College for Women’s annual day celebrations on the college premises, where she was the chief guest here on Friday, she said that everyone should keep goals and try to achieve them by working hard. 

Eluru: District Principal Sessions Judge Sunitha Gandham called upon the girl students to become bold and face any eventualities and hardships. Participating in the Sir CR Reddy College for Women’s annual day celebrations on the college premises, where she was the chief guest here on Friday, she said that everyone should keep goals and try to achieve them by working hard.

Sessions Judge Sunitha pointed out that former President Abdul Kalam was able to reach great heights and realise his goals through sheer hard work from humble beginning as a paperboy. He could become a famous scientist and later became the President, she reminded.

She urged the students to focus on their studies and excel in academics. She said that up to Intermediate, she was an ordinary student but from degree onwards, she emerged as the topper and won gold medals. The women students should be fearless and face the pressures with self-confidence, she added.

CRR Educational Institutions president Kommareddy Rambabu said that it was the responsibility of the students to extend their culture and traditions to future generations. He said that in the recently concluded CRR Fest-2018, the girl students proved their caliber in sports and cultural competitions.

CRR Educational Institutions secretary NVK Durga Rao and principal P Sailaja addressed the meeting. Later, the Sessions Judge distributed prizes to the toppers of Intermediate, undergraduate and post-graduate courses.

Women’s College correspondent Chalasani Viswanatha Rao, Autonomous College correspondent US Ramprasad, PG College correspondent Vankineni Raghu Kumar and vice-principal Rajyalakshmi addressed the meeting.
