An MPs delegation comprising GallaJayadev, Baijayant Jay Pandea,BharendraSingh, VivekTankha and Prem Das Rai met Japan Prime Minister Shinzo Abe in Tokyo and discussed subjects of bilateral and strategic interest between the two countries.

Guntur: An MPs delegation comprising GallaJayadev, Baijayant Jay Pandea,BharendraSingh, VivekTankha and Prem Das Rai met Japan Prime Minister Shinzo Abe in Tokyo and discussed subjects of bilateral and strategic interest between the two countries.

They visited `The Nippon Foundation Paralympic Support Centre” in Tokyo and met the foundation chairman Sasakawa San and others. The Support Centre was established with an objective to promote Paralympic sports and encourage paralympic sports persons. It may be mentioned that in November 2016, Prime Minister Narendra Modi visited Japan and met Japan Prime Minister Shinzo Abe.

In the meeting Shinzo Abe had said that the summit meeting was magnificent that substantially advanced the new era in Japan-India relations, and he hoped the two countries would lead the prosperity and stability of the Indo-Pacific region by coordinating the “Free and Open India and Pacific Strategy” and the “Act East” policy.
