Sri Padmavathi Mahila Visvavidyalayam’s (SPMVV) engineering college student G Manisha Reddy of B Tech 3rd year (CSE) has been selected as the Google Developer Student Club (DSC) lead for the varsity.

Tirupati: Sri Padmavathi Mahila Visvavidyalayam’s (SPMVV) engineering college student G Manisha Reddy of B Tech 3rd year (CSE) has been selected as the Google Developer Student Club (DSC) lead for the varsity. DSC was a google developers programme for university students, designed to help them build their mobile and web development skills and knowledge.

It was intended to be a space for students to learn and collaborate as they solve mobile and web development problems. The programme was initiated in SPMVV by UIF (University Innovation Fellows) students and initially there were 60 participants from all departments which were shortlisted to 30. After technical test they were further shortlisted to five.

These five students made an online application for the Google DSC and in the process only two were selected and interviewed through telephone by Google team. The remaining four students were acting as the core team for the club under the faculty point of contact K Venkatagurunatha Naidu.

SPMVV V-C Prof V Durga Bhavani, Rector Prof V Uma, Registrar Prof DM Mamatha and Engineering College Director Ramakrishna Rao have congratulated Manisha on the occasion.
