Vijayawada/Guntur: YSRCP senior leader Botcha Satyanarayana on Tuesday made it clear that YSRCP would move no-confidence motion in the Parliament against the NDA government and appealed to other political parties in the state to work unitedly to achieve the common goal of Special Category Status (SCS).

He said the YSRCP would continue its struggle till it achieves the SCS. Addressing media conference at the party office here on Tuesday, Botcha Satyanarayana said the state needs the funds and not the statistics as demanded by the Jana Sena chief Pawan Kalyan. He thanked the Pawan Kalyan for suggesting to introduce a no confidence motion in the Parliament against the NDA government.

He alleged Pawan Kalyan comes out only when Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu faces some problems. He also blamed the Chief Minister for giving conflicting statements on the Special Category Status and the grants released by the Union government to the state as per the Bifurcation Act.

In Guntur: Botcha Satyanarayana said the party will mount pressure on the Centre for Special Category Status to AP and keep up assurances mentioned in the State Bifurcation Act.

Addressing YSRCP leaders at Nirasana Deeksha near collectorate here on Tuesday, he said the party MPs will tender their resignation in case of need and the YSRCP is ready to move no-confidence motion also.

He criticised Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu for maintaining silence for the last four-days and now playing politics for gaining mileage. He said the BJP at the Centre and TDP in the state are cheating the people and neglecting the interests of state.

He said YSRCP will mount pressure on the Centre till it keeps up all the assurances mentioned in the State Bifurcation Act. He criticised the TD for failing to get benefits under special package to the state.
