Amaravati: BJP Floor leader in AP Assembly P Vishnu Kumar Raju condemned the comments of YSR Congress MP V Vijaya Sai Reddy against Satish Chandra, Special Chief Secretary to Chief Minister and senior IPS officer A B Venka-teswara Rao.
Speaking to reporters at Secretariat here on Thursday, Vishnu Kumar Raju has said that it is unfortunate to target officers who always obey the directions of the government as part of their duties. It is not correct to drag them into politics for obeying the government orders. “BJP was strongly condemning the comments of YSRC leader Vijaya Sai Reddy,’’ he said.
Meanwhile, AP JAC Amaravati chairman Bopparaju Venkateswara Rao also decried the YSRC MP and said that threatening officials has become a common practice to the YSRC leaders. He said that YSRC MLA Chevireddy Bhaskara Reddy had also threatened government officials a few months ago.
