Vizianagaram: Youth, who has been waiting of jobs in various sectors, are intensifying their measures to reach their goals. Thousands of eligible youth are seriously trying to grab even an outsourcing job.

Recently, the government released notification for recruitment in model residential schools in the district under various categories like wardens, cooks, assistant cooks and librarians through an outsourcing agency which belongs to the relative of MLA of S Kota K Lalitha Kumari.

As of now, thousands of graduates and under graduates are roaming around the offices of MLAs to get recommendation letter to attach, along with the application. Betestha, an Outsourcing Manpower Supply Agency, which belongs to relative of Lalitha Kumari is receiving applications from eligible candidates.

Even post graduates are also applying for the post of assistant cook, which needs no special skills. Though they are being recruited on an outsourcing basis, they should follow norms, roaster and rule of reservation at the time of appointment. But as of now no outsourcing agency has followed the roaster system.

Actually, the agency is authorised to take only two per cent as commission from the monthly salary of the worker concerned whom he hired for the government department. But some of the agencies are collecting monthly around Rs 2,000 from the employee.

G Nagamani, district educational officer, stated that no mall practices would be allowed in the recruitment process. Only eligible candidates would be taken into service, she said.
