Stress on environmental protection for posterity
Scientist of national repute Prof Purushottama Reddy has cautioned students of Annamacharya Engineering College here that the human race would be in peril if we fail to safeguard ecological balance. Â He was speaking at an environment awareness programme held at the college here on Saturday. Â

SKR & SKR college principal Dr Subbaratnamma said that humans are alone responsible for polluting air, water and land. College principal Dr V Sudhakar Reddy said that people should realise it as their duty to protect the environment around us. The onus to protect the environment and preserve it for the posterity rests squarely on us.
SKR & SKR college lecturer Gangadhar, Lebaku Narayana Setty Charitable Trust general secretary Bhaskar Reddy, college heads of departments Dr KN Sasikumar, P Ramasubba Reddy and others took part in the programme.
