Andhra Pradesh Film Development Corporation (APFDC) chairman Ambika Krishna has said on Saturday that the State government is ready to allocate 24 acres of land near Tada of Nellore district for setting up film dubbing and recording studio to the noted film production company ABM in order to promote film industry in the state. 

Vijayawada: Andhra Pradesh Film Development Corporation (APFDC) chairman Ambika Krishna has said on Saturday that the State government is ready to allocate 24 acres of land near Tada of Nellore district for setting up film dubbing and recording studio to the noted film production company ABM in order to promote film industry in the state.

He says that the State government is also contemplating to extend financial assistance of Rs.10 lakh to the small producers to make movies in the state. Speaking to media persons at the APFDC office, he has said Tada is the ideal location for setting up a studio because both Telugu and Tamil movies can be produced.

Asked about how much time it would take to develop the Telugu film industry in the state, he replied that he could not predict. He points out that Vizag is an ideal place for the growth of film industry.
