Hyderabad: Nandigama recorded the day’s highest maximum temperature of 37 degrees Celsius while Kalingapatnam and Kurnool had a high of 36 degrees Celsius each, the Met department bulletin said on Monday.

The other day temperatures in the State were: Ongole, Tuni, Vijayawada, Visakhapatnam Airport, Anantapur & Nandyal 35 each, Bapatla, Kakinada, Nellore, Jangamaheswarapuram, Kadapa & Tirupati 34 each, Kavali, Machilipatnam, Narsapur, Visakhapatnam & Arogyavaram 33 each.

According to the bulletin, there was an appreciable fall in the night temperatures ranging from 2.1 degrees Celsius at one or two places. The lowest minimum temperature of 15 degrees Celsius was recorded in Jangamaheswarapuram, Bapatla, Anantapur and Nandyal.

The other temperatures in the State were: Vijayawada & Arogyavaram 16 each, Kalingapatnam, Nandigama, Visakhapatnam Airport & Tirupati 17 each, Tuni, Kadapa & Kurnool 18 each, Kakinada, Machillipatnam & Narsapur 19 each, Kavali 20, Nellore, Ongole & Visakhapatnam 21 each.
