Hyderabad: It was the turn of Tuni to record the highest day temperature of 38 degrees Celsius on Tuesday, as against 35 degrees Celsius the previous day.

The Met department bulletin said Nandigama, Ongole, Visakhapatnam Airport and Kurnool had a high of 37 degrees Celsius each. The other maximum temperatures recorded in the State were: Machilipatnam Jangamaheswarapuram, Vijayawada, Anantapur, Kadapa &Nandyal 36 each, Bapatla, Kakinada, Kalingapatnam, Nellore, Arogyavaram, Tirupati 35 each, Kavali 34, Narsapur & Visakhapatnam 33 each.

The lowest minimum temperature of 14 degrees Celsius was recorded in Jangamaheswarapuram. The other night temperatures in the State were: Anantapur 15, Arogyavaram, Kadapa & Nandyal 16 each,Tirupati & Bapatla 17 each, Nandigama & Kurnool 18 each, Kavali, Vijayawada 19 each, Kalingapatnam, Narsapur, Tuni & Visakhapatnam Airport 20 each, Kakinada, Machilipatnam & Ongole 21 each, Nellore 22 and Visakhapatnam 24.

According to the forecast, dry weather is very likely to prevail in Andhra Pradesh from February 28 to March 4. No large change during the subsequent three days is the weather outlook.
