Join hands to fight against the Centre; TG Venkatesh tells parties
Rajya Sabha Member TG Venkatesh has advised the leaders of various political parties to join hands to get the rightful share to Andhra Pradesh from the Central government. It is of no use to blame among one another, he said. Â

Recalling Ralayaseema Ikya Vedika Porata Samithi, TG said ever since it was formed 15 years ago, it has been fighting for the rights of the people of Rayalaseema, the MP said during a press conference held at Darbar Hall here on Tuesday.
Addressing the media, TG Venkatesh found fault with YSRCP and said that instead of questioning BJP, YS Jaganmohan Reddy was tilting towards BJP. Jaganmohan Reddy extended his support at the time of Vice-President Elections and even supported for the implementation of GST bill.
Agreeing that TDP, BJP and Jana Sena went to the polls last time, TG said as BJP went back on its promises to the state, Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu has taken a political battle to fight with the BJP at the Centre.
Ridiculing BJPs claim that they got several projects to Rayalaseema, he said that "We will welcome wholeheartedly if they convince Centre to accord Special Category Status to Andhra Pradesh". He said it was eighth and ninth wonders of YSRCP supporting BJP on GST, demonetisation, and President and Vice-President Elections.
He further said that recently the BJP leaders have put the demands, Kurnool to be made second capital besides establishing High Court to Rayalaseema. He advised the political leaders of all parties to shun criticising each other and approach Naidu with a strategy and together fight for the rightful share.
