Post-delivery patient with rare disease treated successfully

The Narayanadri Hospitals in Tirupati claimed that their team of doctors have treated successfully a 22-year-old woman Nandini, who undergone normal delivery in Rayachoti but immediately after that she suffered with breathlessness and other problems.
Tirupati: The Narayanadri Hospitals in Tirupati claimed that their team of doctors have treated successfully a 22-year-old woman Nandini, who undergone normal delivery in Rayachoti but immediately after that she suffered with breathlessness and other problems.
Soon after, she was admitted in Narayanadri Hospital for advanced treatment. The doctors found that her blood pressure was too low and cardiac contractile was poor. After given one week of intensive care treatment, she slowly recovered, said the doctors.
Speaking to the media here on Tuesday, they said that the disease has been identified as Peripartum Cardiomyopathy. This rare disease with incidence of 1 in 4,000 child births has no scientifically proven reasons.
