The government insulted the women in the state and also Telugu culture by deploying cheer girls. The women activists also pointed out the state government’s wine parties to the delegates in the Partnership Summit and also deployment of the Cheer Girls in the name of cultural programmes.

Addressing a joint press conference, Secretary of POW M Lakshmi, AIDWA city secretary AN Madhavi, President of Pragathiseela Mahila Sangham Venkata Lakshmi, Andhra Pradesh Mahila Samakhya leaders Mani, A Vimala, B Parameswari and D Lalitha demanded an apology from the government.

“Director Ramgopal Varma making porn videos and insulting the women with unparliamentarily words. Now, Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu is attracting the investors by deploying the Cheer Girls bringing them from CIS countries,”, they lamented

Women leaders demanded the Chief Minister release a white paper on 2016, 2017 and 2018 Partnership Summit results. During the past two summits, how much funds realised? How many jobs created? How many companies and industries were set up in the state, the Chief Minister should answer in the white paper, the leaders said.
