Andhra Pradesh Project Monitoring System will speed up works in civic bodies: Joint Director
The Joint Director of Municipal Corporation, Ramani directed the district municipal officials to follow the system of Andhra Pradesh Project Monitoring System (APPMS) and upload the work procedures through online. These new procedures have to be implemented in all the municipalities, she added.

Participating as the chief guest in an awareness programme and a workshop organised on APPMS at the municipal council hall here on Wednesday, she urged the employees to put an end to the manual works and switch over to the electronic filing system.
With this system, there would be a better coordination between the staff and the Commissioner, she stated The Joint Director said that the APPMS helps expedite the works in no time and also secures the information online. It also helps to know the status of works under progress in the municipal wards concerned.
If the officer comes across any problem, he can immediately act and resolve the matter. But to carry out the thing in a smooth manner, everyone should be aware of APPMS, said Ramani. Commissioner of Kurnool Municipal Corporation, CB Harinath Reddy and Engineer-in-Chief Nagesh Babu also took part in the workshop.
Earlier, officials gave a powerpoint presentation on the APPMS. Later, the same was practically worked out on the computer. All commissioners of the concerned municipalities in the district and engineers participated in the programme.
