Cases were registered and fines were imposed on 20 vehicles with overload, 13 people for violating speed limit and 61 cases for triple riding on bike, 21 people without valid vehicle documents, 88 people for not wearing helmet while driving, 158 cases for violating other rules and 41 people were booked under drunken driving cases.

On Thursday, Machilipatnam Additional Judicial First Class Magistrate Court imposed a fine of Rs 4,500 on three people who were booked under various traffic rule violation. Under Bandar Traffic police station limit SJSCM court imposed a fine of Rs 6,800 on four people, Gudiwada AJFCN Court imposed Rs 5,000 fine on two, Nuzvid AJFCN court imposed Rs 22,500 fine on 15, Nandigama AJFCN court imposed Rs 7,300 fine on four and Avanigadda AJFCN court imposed Rs 3,000 fine on two people according to released by the District Police Superintendent.
