Mega Job fair from March 7 to 10
Around 3, 000 jobs would be provided to the unemployed youth in a mega job fair which would be organised at Puttur in Chittoor district for three days starting from March 7 to 9, said Andhra Pradesh Information Technology Academy (APITA) CEO Winny Patro here on Thursday.
Vijayawada: Around 3, 000 jobs would be provided to the unemployed youth in a mega job fair which would be organised at Puttur in Chittoor district for three days starting from March 7 to 9, said Andhra Pradesh Information Technology Academy (APITA) CEO Winny Patro here on Thursday. The job fair will be held at Siddhartha Institute of Engineering and Technology, Siddharth Nagar, Narayanavaram Road in Puttur.
Speaking to mediapersons, Patro said that the job fair would be organised by APITA in collaboration with Hindustan Times (Shine.com) to provide jobs for the unemployed youth. He said that more than 50 companies have registered to participate with APITA to participate in the fair and provide jobs. Students who passed out in 2015, 2016 and 2017 with SSC, Intermediate, BCA, MCA, B Com, BBA, MBA, ITI, Diploma, B Tech, BE, B Sc, M Sc, B Sc Nursing, BPT, D Pharma, BHM, MPHW, PMHA, etc., are eligible for various identified jobs, he said.
He said that top notch companies like Paytm, Flipkart, OYO, Redbus, Lenskart, Jet Airways, Tata, Mahindra, WalMart, Genpact, Byju’s, member companies of IT Association of Andhra Pradesh (ITAAP) and many more will participate in the fair.
The companies would provide a minimum salary of 1.2 lakh to RS 6 lakh per annum, he added. The valedictory will be held on March 10 and offer
letters will be given to the selected candidates by the companies.
