Boy drowns in sea
A 14-year-old boy D Sai drowned in the sea at the RK Beach on Friday. A resident of Dondaparty and studying Class VIII, Sai, went to the beach to celebrate the Holi, along with his friends. In fact, the boy informed his parents that he was going to railway grounds to play along with his friends.
Visakhapatnam: A 14-year-old boy D Sai drowned in the sea at the RK Beach on Friday. A resident of Dondaparty and studying Class VIII, Sai, went to the beach to celebrate the Holi, along with his friends. In fact, the boy informed his parents that he was going to railway grounds to play along with his friends.
Attracted by the tides, Sai, along with some others, entered the waters and struck with a high tide and drowned in the sea. The other visitors, observing that the boy was drowning raised alarm. The expert swimmers immediately ventured into the sea to rescue the boy, but in vain. However, after one-hour, the body was fished out. The III Town police registered a case and took up investigation.
After conducting post-mortem, the body was handed over to his parents. Sai’s father was working as a car driver and he shifted to the city from Parvathipuram in Vizianagaram district for livelihood.
