Engineers told to imbibe moral values for egalitarian society
Union Minister for Civil Aviation and Chairman MANSAS P Ashok Gajapathi Raju motivated the budding engineers to pursue practical application of technical knowledge blended with moral values for an egalitarian society. He was addressing a gathering at the anniversary celebrations of MVGR College of Engineering here on Friday. Aditi Gajapathi Raju, Member of Trust Board, MANSAS, spoke about MANSAS.

Prof M Chandrasekhar, Director of IIM, Visakhapatnam, stated that there is a change in academic practices when compared to past which enables the students informative and knowledge oriented. Students enthralled the gathering with traditional, folk and western dances. Dr Laxman Prasad, Director, RKG Group of Institutions, Gaziabad, also addressed the students.
Apart from cultural programmes, a blood donation camp was also conducted in collaboration with MR Government Blood Bank, Vizianagaram. In all, 120 students and faculty donated 75 units of blood. Principal Dr KVL Raju congratulated 2016 passed out batch, who were awarded 14 gold medals for 2013-2017 academic year. The academic toppers of current batch are given cash awards.
