Jagan promises happy days for farmers
The YSR Congress Party president YS Jaganmohan Reddy promised all happy days to the farmers in the state. Speaking at the public meeting in Inkollu in Parchuru Assembly constituency on Tuesday, Jaganmohan Reddy offered sops like free electricity, capital infusion, zero interest loans etc to woo the farmers.
Parchuru: The YSR Congress Party president YS Jaganmohan Reddy promised all happy days to the farmers in the state. Speaking at the public meeting in Inkollu in Parchuru Assembly constituency on Tuesday, Jaganmohan Reddy offered sops like free electricity, capital infusion, zero interest loans etc to woo the farmers.
Starting his 105th day of Prajasankalpa Yatra from Takkellapadu in Addanki Assembly constituency at 1414.7 km mark, Jaganmohan Reddy walked through J Panguluru, Arikatlavari Palem, Gangavaram and reached Inkollu covering 14.7 km on Tuesday. Farmers, farm labourers, computer operators, women and youth met Jaganmohan Reddy and poured out their problems.
At Inkollu, Jagan addressed a massive gathering of people. He said that no one is happy under the rule of the Chief Minister Chandrababau Naidu and his idea of development. He alleged that Chandrababu Naidu is resorting to corruption and using money to buy MLAs in Telangana and AP. He termed the TDP chief as the man who was caught in the `vote-for-note’ scam but managing to escape. He challenged Chandrababu to disqualify the 23 defected MLAs and let them win on TDP symbol.
Jaganmohan Reddy explained that if he forms the government with the blessings of the public, he will give free and uninterrupted power supply for nine hours in the day time for agriculture and also promised to give interest free crop loans to the farmers.
He offered to give Rs 12,500 in every May to the farmers as capital infusion so that they need not take loans from private persons. The minimum support price for every crop will be announced early so that farmers can decide on the extent of the crop. He offered to dig bore wells in the agriculture lands on the expenditure of government to save them from financial burden.
The YSRCP chief promised to setup a price stabilisation fund with Rs 3,000 crore and calamity relief fund with Rs 4,000 crore to help farmers in times of losses. All pending projects would be completed to provide water for agriculture.
