Purandeswari says TDP is spreading falsehoods
Senior BJP leader and former union minister Daggubati Purandeswari has stongly criticized Chandrababu Naidu for spreading canards on the issue of special status to the state of Andhra Pradesh. She alleged that the TDP Government had diverted the funds meant for capital construction, Polavaram project and backward area development fund for other purposes.

Talking to mediapersons on Friday, she said that schemes like Chandranna Bima, Neeru Chettu, 24-hour power supply and housing for the poor were Central Government funds and the State Government was claiming credit for Centre’s works.
She said while10 lakh houses were constructed across the country, six lakh were built in AP alone. She said the TDP was trying to spread canards about the statement of Union Finance Minister Arun Jaitley.
