The Chief Minister reviewed the progress of different programmes being implemented in districts on Friday at the Secretariat. According to officials, Rs 2,080 crore has been spent in the last four years for the construction of toilets. Chittoor, Srikakulam and Anantapur have shown substantial progress.
The Chief Minister asked officials to present a plan of action by the end of this month to use the latest technology for improving drinking water, compost conversion, solid waste management and work towards making all districts ODF and clean in the next one year.
Secretary for the general administrative department, Srikant Nagulapalli, updated the Chief Minister Naidu about progress of e-Office. He said that biometric attendance is functioning in 76 per cent of the 1,00,674 offices. The target date of completion is March 15.
He also presented the enrolment status of the staff in all departments and at the district level. Naidu reiterated that by April 1 this year, all employees should be enrolled to e-Office, and all offices should become paperless.
He read aloud the file disposal trends of all ministers, secretaries and advisors of the government. “Now that we are moving towards transparency, all senior or junior officials will be exposed. This means that the agency that is enabling this infrastructure should be efficient and accurate,” he said.
Officials said that the Bhuseva system will be completely online by October 2nd. Six departments are coordinating, to complete the digitisation of all land records, resolve disputes and assign unique 11 digit Bhudhaar codes to all properties.
