Balakrishna fans seek recognition in TDP
Fans of film actor and Hindupur MLA Nandamuri Balakrishna organised a meeting here on Sunday and discussed about their future activities.
Ongole: Fans of film actor and Hindupur MLA Nandamuri Balakrishna organised a meeting here on Sunday and discussed about their future activities.
Prakasam district Balakrishna Fans Association organised the meeting at NTR Kalakshetram in the town. Hundreds of fans from all corners of the district participated.
The All India NBK Fans convenors BBG Tilak, G L Sridhar attended the meeting as the guests and announced that similar meetings will be held in all districts to activate the Balakrishna fans and work for the TDP.
They formed district fans committee with Ravi Srinivas as president, Katragadda Vamsi, Davuluri Anil and others as members and formed district NRI fans cell with Somepalli Kalyan Kumar from Kuwait as president for it.
Speaking at the meeting, a few of the fans of Balakrishna opined that they were being neglected by the local TDP leaders, though they worked hard for the party.
They demanded importance as NBK fans and asked the organisers to take the issue to the notice of Balakrishna. The organisers pacified them and asked them to wait until all district committees were formed as it would reflect the real strength of the Balakrishna fans.
