Rosaiah unveils former MLA Pullagura Seshaiah’s statue
Former chief minister of Andhra Pradesh and Tamil Nadu state Governor Konijeti Rosaiah unveiled the bronze statue of former Kadapa MLA and former Municipal chairman Pullagura Seshaiah at Old Municipal office here on Sunday.
Kadapa: Former chief minister of Andhra Pradesh and Tamil Nadu state Governor Konijeti Rosaiah unveiled the bronze statue of former Kadapa MLA and former Municipal chairman Pullagura Seshaiah at Old Municipal office here on Sunday.
Rosaiah, recalling his association with the former MLA, said that Pullagura Seshaiah took initiative to bring Penna water to Kadapa district. He recalled that in those days people of Kadapa were facing acute drinking water problem and the women were forced to walk long distances to get water.
He said that after ‘Pullagura become MLA of Kadapa as he fought with the governments for bringing Penna water and finally achieved the task. The late leader was a rare political personality as he had rendered self-less service to the people as MLA, and Municipal chairman. Kadapa city MLA SK Amzad Basha , Municipal Corporation Chairman Suresh Arya Vaisya Sangam leaders and others were present.
