Amaravati: The State government will be finalising an action plan for development of every family by enhancing its income. Minister for Panchayat Raj and Rural Development Nara Lokesh has said that the State government is keenly monitoring the developments of every family with the details of pulse survey.

He was giving an answer to a question in the Assembly on Tuesday. ``Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu is keen that every family should earn Rs 10,000 monthly. As part of it, the government introduced several welfare schemes,’’ he said.

The minister said that every house in the State would be provided with Wi-Fi facility with the support of Google by December this year. The implementation of Fibergrid project is getting delayed due to lack of set top boxes, he said.

He said that 2,000 Panchayats in the State would get Under Ground Drainage (UGD) system by March 2019 and works would begin from April this year. The dumping yards would be established in all the municipalities and also in villages.

The garbage is being collected from every house he said and added that the bio-metric card system would be introduced at every doorstep for effectively collecting the implementation garbage collection.

The State government also found it necessary to arrange fencing to girls hostels. The Andhra Pradesh is only State in the country constructing toilets at a cost of Rs 15,000 including its share of Rs 3,000, Lokesh said.

Several MLAs lauded Lokesh for his services to the state. MLA Gorantla Butchaiah Chowdary has said that now the villages are also getting city appearance. Some more facilities should be provided in view of migrations of workers from other states, he said.
