Vizianagaram: The YSRCP leaders flayed the TDP alleging that the resignation of Union Minister for Civil Aviation P Ashok Gajapathi Raju had not indicated any concerns over not considering Special Category Status to the state even as the TDP leaders praising him as a great personality who sacrificed his position.

Recently, the TDP leaders installed flexies after the resignation of Ashok Gajapathi Raju as Union Minister and applauded his sacrifice. The TDP leaders termed him as a warrior and they stated that the party gives more priority to the interests of public and state rather than enjoying posts.

Now the YSR Congress Party leaders pointed out some lines in the resignation letter of Ashok Gajapathi and blaming him as a selfish man. The YSRCP leaders said that Ashok had enjoyed the power for four years as a minister and now he had stepped down due to the demands of public.

But Ashok reportedly did not mention his agony or displeasure over the Union government in his letter. Apart from that he reportedly had thanked Prime Minister Narendra Modi for his cooperation. Ashok did not mention even a single word regarding Special Category Status in his resignation letter.

“It seems that the TDP leaders are playing games with the emotions of the people. We should explain their dual stand to the people", they stated. YSRCP MLC K Veerabhadra Swamy said that the TDP is according top priority to their personal interests rather than the welfare of the state. “The two ministers had reluctantly resigned and now making the people to believe them. We will create awareness among the people how the TDP is betraying us," he said.
