Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu said that about 2.5 lakh people will get the advanced tools under Adarana-2 programme.  Inaugurating the Adarana-2 programme at Indira Gandhi Municipal Stadium here on Thursday, Naidu said that the advanced tools would be distributed to handloom workers. 

Vijayawada: Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu said that about 2.5 lakh people will get the advanced tools under Adarana-2 programme. Inaugurating the Adarana-2 programme at Indira Gandhi Municipal Stadium here on Thursday, Naidu said that the advanced tools would be distributed to handloom workers.

Naidu said that Rs 750 crore would be spent on the programme and if needed, the government would spend more money for the welfare of the people. Later, the Chief Minister visited the stalls and interacted with them. Naidu said that through fibregrid everyone can use internet and get information of latest technology. He said that all the latest technologies in the world would be brought to AP.

“We should always think to increase our income,” he said and added that the state's budget had substantially increased. More than Rs 22, 200 crore was spent benefiting 2.4 lakh people, said the Chief Minister.

Responding to the comments made by Jana Sena Chief Pawan Kalyan on Wednesday, Naidu suspected that some people behind Pawan
Kalyan making such harsh comments against TDP government and they will come out soon.

Transport minister Atchen Naidu said the government had spent Rs 12, 861 crore for the welfare and development of BCs. He said about 67 residential schools and BC welfare buildings have been established in each district for BCs.

Deputy Chief Minister K E Krishna Murthy said 2.50 lakh people will be benefited through Adarana-2 programme and added that there are eight BC ministers in the Cabinet and the budget for BC welfare was doubled. As long as Naidu was the Chief Minister, he said BC community will not remain backward.
