Chittoor: District Congress Committee (DCC) president Venugopala Reddy said on Thursday that AICC chief Rahul Gandhi will sign on the file of Special Category Status (SCS) to the Andhra Pradesh once the Congress comes to power at Centre. Addressing the media here, the DCC chief slammed the BJP-led NDA government and Prime Minister Narendra Modi for not fulfilling the promise of granting SCS to the state. He stated that the Congress will intensify the protest for SCS in a phased manner. The Congress leader ridiculed the TDP, BJP and YSRCP for using special status sentiment for political mileage. Senior Congress leader Prameelamma also spoke.
