Chandrababu Naidu should go on fast for Special Category Status: CPI
CPI district secretary A Rama Naidu demanded an indefinite fast by Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu to attain Special Category Status (SCS) to the AP. Welcoming TDP’s decision of quitting NDA, he asked the party to become part of the agitation for SCS.
Tirupati: CPI district secretary A Rama Naidu demanded an indefinite fast by Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu to attain Special Category Status (SCS) to the AP. Welcoming TDP’s decision of quitting NDA, he asked the party to become part of the agitation for SCS.
At last, TDP has realised and woke upon the injustice meted out to the State by the Central government, he stated. CPI along with other parties has been fighting for SCS and it has received huge response for its bandh call recently, he said.
Though, they demanded Chandrababu Naidu to come out of NDA on that day itself, he came out now bowing to people’s wishes. If the Chief Minister sit for indefinite fast, all parties cutting across party lines will come forward to support him, he opined.
