Eluru: Sriman SK Acharya, Harikatha Pithamaha, film and drama artise passed away here on Thursday at Palacol. The 75-year-old Acharya survived by wife and daughter. Acharya had introduced Dasari Narayana Rao to the stage in his teenage. Dasari Narayana Rao, the star director had taken Sriman SK Acharya into several films. He had performed Harikatha in several areas across the state.
Several people reached the house of Sriman SK Acharya and paid tributes to the departed soul. They recollected Acharya’s witty talking. Acharya had never begged anyone for the money to eke out his livelihood and blessed everyone who bows his head in front of him. He was very much fond of drama and cinema beside Harikatha.a
