2 new boats for tourists launched
Chinese-made AC bus boat worth Rs 1.19 crore and US-made luxury pontoon boat worth Rs 24.49 lakh were new attractions for tourists visiting Bhavani Island here. A three-star category AC restaurant refurbished at a cost of Rs 35 lakh is another highlight at the island.

Chairman of the Andhra Pradesh Tourism Development Corporation (APTDC) Jayarami Reddy inaugurated the AC bus boat and luxury pontoon boat to mark Ugadi. APTDC Managing Director Himanshu Sukla accompanied Jayarami Reddy in launching the new boats and the restaurant.
According to a press release, the tourists can enjoy the multi- cuisine taste and can watch panoramic scenic beauty of Krishna river from these cruisers through glass windows.The renovated restaurant will cater to the increasing needs of the tourists. Similarly, more pleasure rides would be possible with the newly introduced boats.
