Amaravati: TDP national president and Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu said the party was taking support from all political parties at national level for the no-confidence motion it was introducing in Parliament.
He made these remarks during teleconference with party MPs on Monday, just before commencement of Parliament proceedings. Appreciating the MPs for their efforts and protests in the House, he said that the entire nation was talking about the injustice done to Andhra Pradesh by the BJP government owing to the TDP’s efforts.
He further suggested that MPs continue their protest in Parliament till BJP government did justice to Andhra Pradesh. Referring to YSRCP’s bid to be in good books of BJP, he accused Prime Minister Narendra Modi of entertaining the leaders with criminal background.
The Chief Minister said, “This is very important time. All should be alert. No one should be afraid of hardships. We are only demanding justice to the state. Will they launch war against those who demand justice? Congress also promised to sanction Special Category Status to AP in its plenary. Then what was the problem for BJP to give it?”
He said YSRCP president YS Jaganmohan Reddy compromised with Congress when the state was bifurcated. “Now also he compromised with BJP. On both the occasions, he put the interests of state at risk because of his selfishness and to come out from criminal cases pending against him,” he said and added,“But our MPs are fighting heroically for our rights. Nobody should lose confidence.”
YSRCP MPs had hidden behind TDP MPs in Lok Sabha, now they are indulging in collusion politics, Naidu alleged. “Letting one party place no confidence motion, let another party make noise on the floor, and planning to adjourn the House... This is the height of collusion politics,” the Chief Minister said. He said YSRCP MP V Vijayasai Reddy was sitting in Prime Minister’s Office, meeting with senior members of the Central government repeatedly and what more proofs are needed to establish the political collusion.
On Pawan Kalyan, he said, “Why Pawan Kalyan, who has been silent for last four years, is criticising (TDP) now? Everybody knew why he took a U-turn.” The cheaters will not get even deposits in elections, he said. The wrong doers are playing cheating game, he added. “Bike rallies should be held in all constituencies. Door to door campaign, circulation of pamphlets should betaken up rigorously in every small village.
Conspiracy and collusion politics should be exposed. No question of compromise on interests of the state and public. All the 19 points in reorganization act and promises made in the Parliament should be fulfilled,” Naidu explained.
