Visakhapatnam: Noted surgeon Dr Syam Prasad has been appointed as the GITAM Institute of Medical Sciences (GIMSR) hospital medical superintendent.
The GIMSR hospital is actively engaged with free medical services particularly offering innovative medical schemes like SavithriPrasuthaPathakam, free knee replacement surgeries, free medical aid to senior citizens and free eye checkups.
GITAM president DrMVVS Murthi felicitated DrSyam Prasad here on Monday and expressed that GIMSR hospital would implement a few more new schemes for poor under DrSyam Prasad.
