Double murder over loan row
Tension prevailed in Pulivendula town on late Tuesday night following the murder of two persons. The deceased were identified as A Ashok (45) and SK Khadar (50) of Jayamma Colony in Pulivendula town.

According to the sources, Ashok had borrowed cash from the local finance company owned by B Nagaraju few months ago. But, he failed to clear the loan despite several reminders from the financier. This led to dispute between duo recently. Nagaraju reportedly warned the deceased that he would face severe consequences if he failed to repay the outstanding amount within week days.
It is learnt that on Tuesday morning, the deceased along with his friend Khadar went to the financier and entered into a heated argument with him over the issue. In this connection, some unidentified persons attacked Ashok with iron rods at his residence in which he was killed on the spot.
Later, the miscreants also attacked Khadar and battered him to death with the iron rods. Pulivendula police registered a case and took up investigation. The cops are suspecting the financial dispute behind double murder.
