Two held for double murder

Vijayawada: Krishna District Superintendent of Police Sarvashreshth Tripathi disclosed the details of the sensational murder of Gudivada couple here on Thursday.
He said that accused one Jillela Suresh and accused two Selvadurai alias Siva were involved in the murder of Boppana Sai Chowdary and his wife Nagamani. He said that both the accused were staying at Perambadur near Chennai after committing the crime.
He said after the murder a special police team investigated to nab the criminals and with the latest advanced technology and other sources. The police enquired the relatives of the deceased and the employees. Later, the police team collected some crucial information in the murder case.
He said the team interrogated the old criminals and stumbled upon Jillela Suresh who was living in Chennai with one Selvadurai (alias) Siva. Suresh was in dire straits and to overcome it, he was involved in the robbery.
On the day of murder, Suresh and Selvadurai decided to burgle the house of Chowdary and entered the house and made away with gold, silver, TV and grabbed the car keys. They killed the couple who was fast asleep.
The police special team arrested Suresh and Selvadurai in Chennai and took them to Chennai court and later they were brought to Gudivada on PT warrant. During the interrogation, both the criminals admitted to the crime, he said.
