Adikavi Nannayya University (AKNU) Science College Principal T Hymavathi said that the Nannayya Common Entrance Test (Nannayya-CET-2018) will be conducted from May 7 for admission into post-graduate courses in the university.
Eluru: Adikavi Nannayya University (AKNU) Science College Principal T Hymavathi said that the Nannayya Common Entrance Test (Nannayya-CET-2018) will be conducted from May 7 for admission into post-graduate courses in the university.
Addressing a media conference at St Teresa’s Women’s College here on Saturday, she said that the Vice-Chancellor released the notification for the Nannayya-CET.
She said the students, who wish to pursue post-graduate courses in AKNU affiliated colleges in both Godavari districts should clear the Nannayya-CET.
Hymavathi said the varsity was offering 14 PG courses in arts group and 17 courses in science stream. The students, who apply for Nannayya CET, have to pay Rs 500 without fine up to April 17. From April 15 to April 23, students have to pay Rs 1,000 to apply for CET. Students can pay application fee through debit/credit cards or net banking, she added.
If any problems arise in online system, she stated they will be solved between April 18-24.She said that 225 seats were available in MSc Bio-chemistry, Biotechnology-135, Botany-120, Zoology-166, Aquaculture-16, Microbiology-240 and 30 seats available in Clinical Nutrition.
For these courses, the AKNU will conduct Life Sciences Common Test, she said and added the Nannayya CET will be held in Srikakulam, Vizianagaram, Amalapuram, Kakinada, Rajamahendravaram, Rampachodavaram, Eluru, Bhimavaram, Jangareddigudem and Vijayawada centres.
University administrative wing assistant director K Deepti said 2,670 seats in Arts, 3,535 seats in Science courses will be filled up through Nannayya-CET.
She said 307 science seats, 280 arts seats are available in the university campus college.
