According to sources, Chandu Jayanti Rajeswari is studying B Ed at local DNR College, and went to the college on March 22, but did not return home. However, on Friday morning, Bhimavaram railway police informed her maternal uncle Naresh Naidu over phone that Rajeswari was found with head injury between Akiveedu-Undi railway stations limits. He further stated that they admitted her to the Bhimavaram Government hospital.
According to information, she went to Vijayawada on Thursday and was returning to Bhimavaram in a train when she fell from the train accidentally.

Meanwhile, her maternal uncle Yalla Naresh Naidu of Nukala Ramanujam street in Bhimavaram town went to the hospital and shifted her to a private hospital for better treatment.

Meanwhile, he lodged a complaint with Two Town police stating that some miscreants entered the private hospital where his niece Rajeswari was undergoing treatment and took away two-and-a-half sovereigns of gold chain and his friend Kishore’s mobile after an assault.

Based on a complaint, Bhimavaram Two Town SI G Kalicharan registered a case and took up investigation.
